Phuket: A Coastline Paradise

Named as one of the most beautiful islands in the world.
The sun, the sand, the lush green nature, the local cuisines, the blue waters, the colorful umbrellas and beach chairs and the friendly people that summed up this place.

We spent 4 days in the beautiful and lovely “The Naka Island”. Known as one of Starwood’s Luxury Collection in Asia. The island is not reachable by cars; so a 10-minute speedboat ride from mainland Phuket is a must to be able to access it. Overlooking from the island is Phang Nga Bay where the famous James Bond Island is located.

We spent a day island hopping from mainland Phuket to it’s popular icon “The Phi-phi Island” the setting of Leonardo DiCaprio’s The Beach and went to Phi-phi Don for lunch and spent the rest of the day at Khai Island for some chillout time under the sun.

After my Bangkok trip during the 1st quarter of 2013, Thailand will always have a special spot in my traveler’s heart.

This trip was definitely one of the best and relaxing trip I had for quite sometime since Boracay a few years ago.

I am just so thankful with all the wonderful and accommodating staff of Naka Island. They added a big factor why this trip became so memorable and special.

I don’t mind going back and staying a week just to have a fresh mind after all the stress of the busy city.
