“Unrivalled luxury, stunning white-sand beaches and an amazing underwater world make the Maldives an obvious choice for a true holiday of a lifetime.”
Booked the trip as early as March 2014 as my birthday gift for myself when I turned 30. It has been always been part of my bucket list as a wanderlust soul to visit this stunner in the middle of Indian ocean but I never expected that it will be happening this year.
The photographer in me kicked-in since we prepared everything.
I am imagining the “atolls” and it’s turquoise waters plus the island life waiting for us.
Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa became our official residences during the entire trip. The place was amazing as expected. Lucky enough that we were placed in a beachfront deluxe room with a direct access patio to the beach. I can’t count how many times I silently uttered in my mind how great to have that view every morning upon opening my eyes to start my day. But of course, not all best things in life are free. Paradise is a hard work destination.
I am just thankful that I have these opportunities to see and experience the world especially dream destinations like The Maldives.
Singapore to Male will take you 4 and half hours flight and it is 3-hours behind.
We left Singapore around 10:00 am and reached Maldives at 12 noon (local time).
This trip is definitely one for the books.
Not your usual beach escape.
